Programme
Events and activities
We organise and host activities that bring people together through books, culture, creativity and learning. Our events can include children's workshops, cultural celebrations, reading sessions, family activities, creative meetings and intercultural gatherings.
We also invite other communities in Tenerife to co-create events with us. The space can be used for activities that are respectful, inclusive, educational and community-oriented.

Knygų namai Tenerifėje is a Lithuanian community library and cultural space created in Tenerife for families, children, adults and everyone interested in culture, language, reading and meaningful community connection.
We started as a place where Lithuanian books, stories and traditions could stay alive far from Lithuania. Today, Knygų namai Tenerifėje is also an open cultural meeting point where people can read, learn, work, organise activities, meet others and build bridges between communities.
Our space is community-led and welcoming. We believe that books can become a starting point for education, creativity, cultural exchange and real human connection.

Library
A library that connects people
Our library was created to keep Lithuanian language, stories and culture accessible in Tenerife. It is a place where children can discover books in their heritage language, families can meet, and adults can reconnect with reading, culture and community.
The library is also open as a shared cultural resource. We welcome ideas for readings, book clubs, language activities, storytelling sessions and small educational events.

Coworking and community space
Knygų namai Tenerifėje also includes a small coworking and meeting space. It can be used for quiet work, small meetings, planning sessions, cultural initiatives, workshops or community projects.

Collaborate with us

Educational cooperation and Erasmus+
Knygų namai Tenerifėje is developing as a cultural and educational space open to international cooperation. We are interested in Erasmus+ KA1 mobility opportunities, student practice, teacher job shadowing and cultural education projects.
Our activities can support the development of language skills, cultural awareness, digital competences, inclusion, creativity and community-based learning.
